1. Why will this help me do more business?
Personalized video advertising with real actors is one of the most effective forms of online marketing. With broadband access being virtually ubiquitous, video advertising on the web has exploded in popularity. Customers will get more out of your website when you make video part of your online content. Using video to create effective "calls to action" will ensure that visitors access deeper info on your website and review more pages. You can also make the advertising process more interactive, drawing the customer's attention to specific links and features of your website.
2. Why do I have to register and log-in?
Registering enables DISS to save your work as you go, allowing you to stop and start the video design process at your leisure and order when you are ready.
3. Won't my video look the same as others?
The large number of video design options featured on DISS gives you the ability to customize your online marketing video. Additionally, there are several opportunities to further personalize your video. First, you can upload your company's logo to appear in the background of the ad. Second, you can send in your company's own attire to be worn by the actor in your custom video production.
4. Can I be featured in my own online promotional video?
YES YOU CAN! We keep our prices low by carefully controlling the production process, which means production takes place in our state of the art studio. We also offer full on-location video production services through our parent company, Prosper Media Group. Want to save even more AND be truly unique, we can create virtual avatars for our clients, where YOU can appear in your video as a 3D version of yourself! All you have to do is upload a few photos!
5. I'm having trouble creating a video script. Can DISS help?
Yes. Simply check the Copy-writing Assistance box on the script creation page and a professional copywriter will contact you. There is an additional fee for this service.
6. I don't like the script I submitted. Can it be redone?
Once a DISS video design is submitted and paid for, it cannot be changed. A video update can later be submitted at a discount. If you need help writing a script, we can have a professional copywriter assist you for a small fee. We now offer a "director's cut" add-on which allows you to make changes to your video AFTER it has been produced.
7. I'm having trouble uploading my images.
Check that the image format is correct (JPG, GIF or PNG). Upload your images in the order you would like them to appear in your video. Be sure you have a resolution of at least 720 pixels by 480 pixels for standard definition video and at least 1280 by 720 pixels for high definition but not larger than 1920 x 1080 pixels.
8. How will people see my video?
We will send you a link to the video and code to place it on your website. You will also receive a digital HD MP4 file or you can order a full resolution hard copy on DVD or choose one of our DISStribution packages.
9. Is there a limit to how many times a video can be viewed?
No, there is no limit. DISS charges based on the amount of time a video is hosted, regardless of its playback or download frequency.
10. 60 seconds isn't enough. Can my video be longer or shorter?
In order to reduce the production costs and time, online video orders are currently limited to 60 seconds. (That means your script should be limited to approximately 1000 characters). This generally matches the maximum amount of time that an advertising video will hold someone's attention. If you feel that you need more time, you may want to re-examine the focus of your message. Or, you can create additional videos to place throughout your website. A video DOES NOT have to be 60 seconds long. The video length should match the time required to convey your message. 11. Are package plans available?
Yes. However, as these are monthly subscriptions, they are not available via the website. Please contact us for more information on the available packages.
12. When will I get my video?
Pending actor availability, standard online video orders should be ready within 5 business days of your payment clearing.
13. Where do I send my organization's personalized wardrobe?
If you are mailing your organization's personalized attire (hats and shirts only) please send the wardrobe via USPS to:

14. How will the images I uploaded appear in my video?
The images that you upload will appear in the order that you upload them, so please keep this in mind when writing your script. You may want to upload pictures after you have finalized your script.
15. How many video orders can I save in the system?
Only one order may be worked on and saved at a time. When you have registered and logged in, the system will automatically save whatever selections you make on the order form. It will do this whether you are trying to create a new video or edit an existing video that has not yet been ordered, so be careful not to change any previous selections. You must complete and pay for your existing order before you can save a new one. Otherwise simply change your previous selections, click save and continue at the bottom of each step.
16. Can I upload a song that isn't available as a DISS option?
Yes, you can upload music to the site. When you upload to our sever you are indicating that you OWN THE RIGHTS to the music. All music available on the DISS website is royalty free, which allow you to use it in the video as you please.
17. What if I want more than one actor?
Your standard DISS video order includes only one actor. If you would like to incorporate more than one actor in a video at the same time, please contact us to help you create a custom video order.
